Exclusive to OceanEvent – shared charter rate
In order to offer our customers full charter of a cruise ship with favourable terms and conditions, OceanEvent plans years in advance. Even before the shipping companies have decided on the routes of their publicly available cruises, we negotiate full charter of the ships for particular dates.
Generally, the minimum charter length is seven nights – much longer than the duration of most private and business events. For this reason, OceanEvent splits the one-week full charter between different customers so that each customer pays only for the actual number of nights he books.
OceanEvent has designed this “shared charter rate” model for ships that are particularly suitable for events. It allows many customers to hold an exclusive event on board a ship and is unique in the business.
